Hangzhou - China
The research center in Hangzhou is responsible for the research, development, and testing of vehicles and key parts. Together with the other R&D centers, Geely has formed a comprehensive platform to develop, research, and tests new innovations for the auto industry.

The R&D center in Ningbo, covering an area of 415 acres, integrates the research and development, test, quality control, supplier collaborative development, and independent R&D capabilities for vehicles, engines, transmission.
Gothenburg - Sweden

Geely Automobile Group has reached its sales target of 3.02 million vehicles, a new record and a sign of strong global growth. NEV (new energy vehicles) achieved almost 90% growth compared to the previous year.

Geely unveils new partnership with Renault and Aramco to revolutionize powertrain technology
Geely, has announced its partnership with Renault and Saudi Aramco to develop and supply gasoline engines and hybrid technologies. The three companies have reached an agreement to establish a powertrain company with a production capacity of more than 5 million “low-emission and hybrid engines and transmissions” annually.

Geely Holding Acquires Volvo Car Corporation.
Geely Holding Group acquired 100% of the shares of Volvo Car Corporation from the Ford Motor Company. The agreement was signed on 28 March 2010 and the transaction was completed 2 August 2010.

Geely Holding Group Establishes a Joint Venture with London Taxi International
Geely Holding Group purchased a 19.97% stake in Manganese Bronze Holdings (the manufacturer and owner of the classic LondonTaxi), becoming the largest shareholder of company. After the equity acquisition, Geely Holding Group established the a joint venture company to produce and sell the classic London taxi in China.
